Three campaign medals awarded by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. From Left to Right (obverse sides) "1914-15 Star", "British War Medal", and "Victory Medal (United Kingdom)". The 1914-15 Star was issued to men of British and Imperial forces who served in the First World War between August 5th 1914 and December 31st 1915. The obverse side of the British War Medal reads: "GEORGIVS V BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP" (Georgius V Britanniarum Omnium; Rex Et Indiae; Imperator - "George 5th of all the Britons (British people); King of India; Emperor"). King George 5th is the head embossed on the British War Medal. The Victory Medal was issued to British and Imperial Forces during the First World War Campaign (1914 - 1920).
