Pyke principal of Saskatoon Collegiate Institute (later known as Nutana) to Homer Watson in which Pyke explains the reason for his delayed response to previous letters, thanks Watson for his interest in the Memorial Art Gallery, and asks if Watson would forward the painting he suggested for the gallery so it could be viewed by the students and the purchasing committee before they confirmed their desire to buy the painting.

Letter from A.J. Pyke Saskatoon Collegiate Institute (later Nutana Collegiate) principal to Homer Watson stating that they had received his painting and that the purchasing committee had approved the painting. He enclosed a cheque for payment of the painting in the letter. Pyke asks Watson for a description of his intention for painting the picture due to the interest of Nutana's students. He concludes by thanking Watson for his support of the Memorial Art Gallery by decreasing the painting's price.
