Climer describes a meeting he had the previous week with prestigious art directors in Canada, who suggested the paintings should remain with the Winnipeg Gallery until they were repaired. Climer states there are no experts in Canada that had the time to restore the paintings at the moment and they were planning on getting someone in from Germany to perform the task.
