Top half of a detailed late 18th-century map of North America and the West Indies. Shows hand-coloured divisions based on "the Preliminaries Signed at Versailles" January, 20th, 1783". Red is used to denote English territories, green is the United States, Blue is French, and Yellow is Spanish territory. Printed on four sheets, two out of the four are shown. Illustrated cartouche showing Native American people. Inset with "A Particular Map of Baffin and Hudson's Bay".
