Letter to Miss Marion Long, May 8, 1924.
Letter to Marion Long, a Canadian artist, likely from A.W. Cameron, principal of Nutana Collegiate, speaking of the creation of an all-girl Memorial Art Gallery Committee "because of the girls' picture we hope to have painted." He says that Nutana wants to only purchase art from women artists this year, as he found the collection lacking in that regard. Cameron expresses his plan to eventually publish a catalogue of the Gallery, which will include pictures of the boys who fell int eh Great War. Further, he speaks of the fundraising activities of the Nutana students, and some of the characteristics he hopes will be resembled in Long's painting of a collegiate girl. Finally, he talks about the the "three important phases of [Nutana's] activities."
