Image of seven men, one woman, one child and a dog standing in front of a small false front building with sign reading "The Saskatchewan Printing and Publishing Company Limited"
Information from Tim Novak, Archivist and Special Media, Saskatchewan Archives Board, September 29, 2005: "....file for the Saskatchewan Printing and Publishing Company Ltd. in the records of the Department of the Provincial Secretary, Companies Branch (Defunct Company file #207). The company was incorporated on October 30, 1907 and its head office was located in Caron, Sask. just west of Moose Jaw. It had taken over the assets of The Enterprise Printing Company. While several shareholders lived in Moose Jaw, it appears that the editor and publisher was J. Robert Long who lived in Caron. The enterprise published a number of small town newspapers out of Caron, including the Tyvan Signal, the Sedley Tribune, the Pense Advance, Mortlach News, the Caron Enterprise, among others. The company did not last long. There are indications that it may have folded by 1910. No date was given for when it struck off the companies register. See Christine MacDonald's "Historical Directory of Saskatchewan Newspapers, 1878-1983" (Saskatchewan Archives Board, Reference, Series 4, 1984), p. 9 for a list of the newspapers published out of Caron by Mr. Long."
