Transcript of audio excerpt (edited by Interviewer): "Well, this Gert McNabb, good-looking young girl, and a local fellow had a crush on her, and the thirties came along, and the family moved away, moved to Winnipeg. And over a few years, they corresponded a little, and he made enough money, he sold some cattle, to buy four tires for an old… for a car that he owned, and he bought… he had enough money, he bought enough gas, and filled the cans, so he had enough gas to drive to Winnipeg and back. And he went to Winnipeg to see this girl, but she wasn’t really interested in going back to Saskatchewan to live on a farm in the thirties, he didn’t have any money, any prospects or anything. So he came back. They lived their lives separately. She married and had children, he married and didn’t have any children. About sixty years later, they got back together, and they dated everything from the time they got back together until they died. They had a wonderful life from then on."
