[Horse-drawn delivery wagon]
Image of horse–drawn Co-op milk and cream delivery wagon. Snow on ground and wagon balanced on sleigh runners; a blanket is draped over the horse. The wagon is standing in front of a large brick building—most likely a factory—with paned-glass windows. Factory door is standing open. A large sign is mounted above the door with the word “butter” partially discernible. The Co-op logo, the words “Milk & Cream” and a two-digit phone number (Phone 46) painted on sides and back of wagon. Leafless branches visible on left-hand side of photo. Date unknown, but taking into account the two-digit phone number, the photo was likely taken in the 1920s or early 1930s.
